3 Ways to Stay Motivated to Exercise

You are craving Chocolate, you don’t want to complete your fitness routine and so on. Well, if you are taking one step forward  and two steps back, you will never reach your goal. You need to work constantly, even if the only thing you wish for is a bed and a big Ice Cream. Fortunately, there are some tricks you can apply to make everything easier. It will not keep you away from sweets, but at least it will make you work out more often.

1. Create your own inspirational board. As childish as this sounds, it is one of the best things that you can do. You have to remind yourself all the time how bad you want to change, and why. Do you want to fit in a new dress before September? Print a picture of that dress and put it on your board. You want to get fitter and leaner? Choose a photo of one of your favorite fitness trainers. So on and so forth, the important thing is that you have to be motivated every time you look at your panel. Write inspirational quotes, weight goal, tips&tricks, anything that will make you ready to exercise.

 

2.Visualize your journey. When you are on a diet, you want to lose weight as fast as possible. Even so, we all know that sometimes no matter what we do, the number on the scale is the same. It’s normal, it happens to everyone and it will not last forever. But what if this will make you lose all your motivation? To prevent that, you need to find a way to visualize your progress. Take two colored jars, decorate them as you want and use them for your project. On one of them write: “pounds to go” and the on the other one “pounds lost”. Take a few decorative stones and place them in the jars, according to the number of pounds that you lost or want to lose. Now, even if you did not lose any weight this week, you can still look at your project and see that your efforts were not in vain. Everything you do will be worth it in the end!

3.Buy new workout gear. Oh, whoever thinks that this method will not work, doesn’t know women. We love nice clothes, even if we are talking about a dress or a pair of joggers. Why not use this in your advantage? Instead of using an old sweater and leggings when you exercise, go ahead and get some brand new, stylish gear.
