Types of Underscarves

When you wear a Hijab, you get used to different kind of accessories. For other women, “pins” and “underscarves”  are not necessary, but for us those are a must. Since there are so many women out there who choose to cover their hair, the designers created many interesting accessories that we can use. One of them and the most important one is the “underscarf”. Why is it so important?

First of all, it allows you to cover your hair completely. If you try to wear just a simple scarf without anything under it, it’s a big chance to find a part of your ponytail uncovered. Besides, if your Hijab is transparent, you will not have any luck covering anything. Also, you can be sure that your scarf will not slip or leave your neck uncovered. There are many types of underscarves, so make sure to choose the right one for you. Here are some of the most common ones:

  • The “bonnet underscarf” is one of the most common and comfortable types of underscarf. Also, you can volumize your hijab as much as you want, because this bonnet will cover your hair perfectly. They come in all kind of colors and styles, so you can wear it when you go out with your friends or when you go to a fancy event.

  • The “tube underscarf” can only be used if your Hijab is not transparent. This is because it does not cover the back of your hair; on the other hand, it is very comfortable and it will allow you to feel free. Also, if you want to wear a turban, this kind of underscarf will not give you too much volume or heaviness.

  • The “ninja underscarf” provides comfort and coverage. You don’t have to worry about your neck or hair showing; just put it on your head and you are ready to go! Also, if you are a fan of the “spanish Hijab” but you don’t want to show your neck, this underscarf will save you. It can be a real help in the hot days of summer, when you don’t want to wrap your Hijab around your neck!

  • The “Turban underscarf” is very popular this year, even among non-muslims. You can wear it under a transparent hijab, or you can simply wear it on its own. Either way, it is great for special occasions or elegant meetings. You can find it in many different styles, so go ahead and start looking!
