Egyption designer Eman Fathy introduces her new fashion label, designed & made in UAE.
Tell us about yourself and how you came to start “EMAN FATHY DESIGNS”?
I studied buisness administration AASST . Since i got veiled i started to think of designing my own clothes always loved drawing and sketching .. im into colours alot and never found my desired style which made me buy a lot of fabrics ,accessories and started to draw my first sketch. my friends loved it and the orders were alot.. I came up with E’s Designs Since i moved from Egypt to Uae.. i found its the only way to stay connected and market my designs worldwide.
What can we expect from “EMAN FATHY DESIGNS” in the future?
E’s Designs is all about modesty in style.. we play with colours ,prints and cuts to come out with something really unique and simple in the same time
We have managed so far in Es designs to have more than one style.. for two years i ve been well know for the handmade embroidered designs with the vintage oriental spirit
What have been your most popular items?
Later on we came up with handmade painted fabrics.. in very colourful trendy way like Fala7a collection
It was a big hit.. that MBC Channel interviewed me and had the whole collection on tv few months ago
So at Es designs You can find from the vintage ethuntic to colourful oriental style to simple loose cut dresses.
Or something little bit funky like printed famous egyptian quotes.
How would you define your personal style?
My personal style would be anything that would look good on me
If i look good i feel good.
Do you have any style tips to share with Hijab Chic readers?
My styling tip to all the lovely hijabistas out there is to wear what make u feel ur best.. and sure you will look your best. go wild when mix and match ur outifit Hijab is great its inspiring in every way.
U create style you make the fashion statement and not the other way around.
Who’s your favorite designer?
My favourite Designer is Roberto Cavali. i like how he goes wild with colours and how his loose cut dresses is so loose but so feminin on the same time and this is how i see Hijab Perfect style!
Who’s your favorite hijab model?
My Fav hijab model is any Hijabi girl!
Any Hijabi girl is the best model for hijab.. shes a princess.. a Lady who values Modesty
What are some of your favorite clothing stores/websites?
I dont have a specific fav brand..i love shopping it’s my addiction ! Specially shoes and bags..but lets name few
My best bag designer would be The one and only Chanel for the Classy sleek look..
I love to buy fashion pieces that may look wild but when u style it it would.look really in fashion and edgy
I always find zara the missing piece i was looking for to complete my look
but still E’s Designs would be my favourite.
