This recipe for creamy, rich coconut hot chocolate is so easy and so tasty that it is blowing my mind right now. Loved this on its own but also mixed in with a cup of coffee! The only adaptation I made were to use regular cocoa powder instead of dutch process – only because I’m cheap like that and had the regular stuff on hand.

This easy homemade Shamrock Shake recipe tastes just like McDonald’s and is the perfect addition to your St. Patrick’s day party!

6 c.(1.5 qts.) vanilla ice cream

3 to 3 3/4 c. milk (see note)

We’ve refashioned T-shirts into sundresses and 2-minute dresses for the littles

Materials:

• 2 to 2 1/2 yards of jersey knit (depending on your size)
• matching thread
• elastic (1/4″-1/2″ is best)
• loose t-shirt

Step 1.With your fabric folded double, cut two (2) identical large slightly tapered rectangles. Use a maxi skirt that you own as a length guide, or measure from your waist to the floor and add an inch or two.

These Ice Cream Cone helium balloons that we made.. were a huge hit and so easy to make!

rint out one copy for each balloon on 8.5 x 11 Brown Kraft Paper. If the paper is thick/cover stock like I used here, it will be heavier and may weight down the balloons, requiring you to fill them up with more helium. Lighter/text paper is better.

We made this DIY ice cream sundae kit for friends.  We thought it would be super fun for them to take to their cottage.  All they need to supply is the ice cream, and they will be set for some sundae making fun.

I picked up some waffle cone bowls, sugar cones and assorted candies and repackaged everything in clear cello bags with colourful labels and bakers twine.

Materials needed (for one flower about 3.5″ across):

• Scissors
• 1/8 of a yard of Satin or Dupioni silk in the color of your choice (amount of material needed will depend on the desired finished size of the flower)
• Lighter
• Needle
• Embroidery thread in complementing color
• Velvet millinery leaves (optional)
• Pin back or alligator clip

You’ll need:

Heels
Gold glitter
Acrylic glue
Sandpaper
A paint brush

How to:

1. Clean the shoes, and then lightly sand them to rough up the surface so the glue sticks properly.
2. Mix the glue and glitter together in a container.
3. Paint the shoe with the glitter glue.
4. Sprinkle with extra glitter to fully coat the shoes.
